Bluesky's underlying protocol, ATProto, is being proposed to support permissioned data structures. The proposal, published today by the Bluesky team, would allow for more granular control over data access within the decentralized network. The change aims to expand the protocol's flexibility for building different types of applications on top of ATProto's federated foundation.
