Hungary PM Magyar proposes chess grandmaster Judit Polgar for president

Hungary's Prime Minister Peter Magyar is proposing chess grandmaster Judit Polgar as the country's next president. Per France 24, Magyar will meet with Polgar on Monday to ask if she'll accept the role. This comes after lawmakers last week passed an amendment removing the current president from office—a move Magyar justified by accusing him of being a puppet of former Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
