Cyclospora: Trump's FDA shits the bed

Boing Boing is reporting on a cyclospora outbreak that prompted a major lettuce recall. The FDA had tested Taylor Farms de Mexico lettuce samples and initially reported a positive result, but on July nineteenth, the agency re-examined the test and determined it was a false positive. The outbreak, meanwhile, continued to spread.
