Museum of Endangered Sounds #MusicMonday

On Monday, Adafruit highlighted the Museum of Endangered Sounds, a digital archive that preserves the sounds of obsolete technology, launched in twenty twelve. The collection includes the whir of a VCR tape feeding in, the screech of a dial-up modem, and the Windows ninety-five startup chime. As streaming and newer devices replace older machines, these distinctive sounds are disappearing. The museum is interactive—click an image, and you hear the sonic signature of technology we've left behind.
