US launches 10th round of strikes as Iran says it is in ‘full-scale war’

The United States has carried out its tenth consecutive round of strikes on Iran, an offensive the American military says is aimed at forcing the reopening of the strait of Hormuz. According to The Guardian, Iran's president declared on Monday that the country is now in a full-scale war, after Washington widened its aerial campaign and Tehran retaliated by striking US allies in the Gulf. President Trump has vowed further retaliation over the deaths of American soldiers. Even so, diplomats say talks to de-escalate the conflict are still under way.
