Cloudflare Internal DNS is now generally available
tech
Cloudflare has launched Internal DNS, a service that consolidates private and public domain name management on a single platform, the company reports. Rather than maintaining separate DNS systems for internal and external networks—a setup that creates synchronization problems and security gaps—the service runs on Cloudflare's global infrastructure and is included at no extra cost for Enterprise customers using Cloudflare Gateway. The service integrates DNS policy enforcement with Zero Trust security, so organizations can manage who has access to internal services through a unified control plane, eliminating the need for legacy DNS appliances and cloud-specific resolvers.
