A Ukrainian drone strike on two Wildberries warehouses killed eight people. This Thursday, less than a week after the attack, Russia’s largest online retailer will reopen one of the facilities.

Russia's largest online retailer is moving to reopen one of two warehouses hit by a Ukrainian drone strike that killed eight people and injured around eighty. Meduza reports that Wildberries will resume operations at its Kotovsk facility in the Tambov region on July 23rd, five days after the attack, once a damage assessment there is complete. Founder Tatyana Kim said the company would also relist goods stored at the second warehouse struck, in Elektrostal, though she did not say whether that site would reopen. Preliminary estimates put the damage at more than fifty billion rubles, and while Wildberries says it is not obligated to compensate sellers for lost goods, Kim pledged not to leave them to handle the problem alone.
