MicroPython ported to the Pico Computer 3

dev_tools

Adafruit Blog reports that MicroPython has been successfully ported to the Pico Computer 3. This lean implementation of Python—designed for microcontrollers—now allows the small device to function as a self-contained computer. Version zero point two brings over features from the MMBasic firmware, including Unix-like shell commands, HDMI display output, USB support for keyboards and mice, audio playback via a DAC, real-time clock, SD card access, and integrated WiFi and Bluetooth. The milestone makes affordable, low-power hardware increasingly capable for hobbyists and embedded systems developers.
