Bucking EV slowdown, Sila raises $300M to expand battery materials factory

Battery materials maker Sila has raised three hundred million dollars to expand production of its silicon-carbon anode material, per TechCrunch. The funding will support manufacturing enough to power more than one hundred thousand electric vehicles — a notable expansion as the EV market faces a broader slowdown.
