Zelensky dismisses Oleksandr Syrsky as commander-in-chief of Ukraine’s armed forces

Per Meduza, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed Oleksandr Syrsky as commander-in-chief of Ukraine's armed forces. Syrsky held the post since February twenty twenty-four, when he succeeded Valery Zaluzhny. Mykhailo Drapaty, who currently commands Ukraine's Joint Forces, is taking over the role.
