Judge blocks feds from deporting witness to Houston ICE shooting

A judge has blocked federal authorities from deporting a witness to a fatal ICE shooting in Houston, The Texas Tribune reports. The order, issued Tuesday, applies to one of the three passengers who were in the van Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was driving when he was shot and killed by ICE. Lawyers for the men are seeking their release from detention.
