Ukraine's Zelensky fires military chief after protests and names a replacement

On Tuesday, President Zelensky fired General Oleksandr Syrsky as commander-in-chief of Ukraine's armed forces, after days of mass protests in Kyiv and other cities demanding his removal. France 24 reports that Mykhailo Drapatyi has been appointed as the new army chief.
