Trump to allow direct US flights to Lebanon after 41-year halt

On Tuesday, the Trump administration announced it will allow US carriers to resume direct flights to Lebanon after a forty-one-year suspension. The route was halted in nineteen eighty-five following the hijacking of TWA flight eight forty-seven. Trump made the announcement after meeting with Lebanon's president, The Guardian reports.
