Ukraine's Zelenskyy sacks army chief Syrsky

Channel NewsAsia reports that Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed military commander Oleksandr Syrsky on Tuesday. Syrsky had led Ukraine's armed forces since twenty twenty-four and was central to the country's defense against Russia's invasion. Major General Mykhailo Drapaty has been named to replace him.
