US defence chief Hegseth puts Iran war cost at $37.5bn so far

On Tuesday, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth put the cost of the Iran war at thirty-seven point five billion dollars to date, according to Al Jazeera. He and Joint Chiefs Chairman Caine are now seeking a one point five trillion dollar defense budget, which includes seventy billion dollars for the Iran war.
