A Smarter DIY Air Filter
tech
Per Hackaday, maker Kishan Pratap Singh designed AirSense, an ESP32-powered air filter that monitors the air it outputs. The system measures PM two point five dust concentration, air quality index, temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure from the exhaust stream. It combines a Xiaomi HEPA filter housed in a perforated metal trash can with a one-fifty millimeter exhaust fan, controlled by an ESP32 with a digital display mounted in a three-D printed cap. The result is a practical DIY solution for anyone curious about their indoor air quality.
