The federal government is welcoming more public input on a worker safety rule. According to the Federal Register, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is re-opening the comment period for a proposed revision to the vinyl chloride standard — workplace protections governing an industrial chemical used in plastics manufacturing. The agency is allowing an additional thirty days for manufacturers, workers, and other interested parties to submit feedback, following a review by OSHA's Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health.
