Spider-Man: Brand New Day director cut 'a lot' of villains from the film: 'Maybe we'll bring it back'

Channel NewsAsia reports that Spider-Man: Brand New Day director Destin Daniel Cretton cut a lot of villains from the film. He considered bringing in other heroes like Shang-Chi too, but couldn't make it work. Cretton left open the possibility of reviving those cut elements.
