Last year’s Hill Country floods traumatized Texas first responders. Then the skies opened again.

First responders in the Texas Hill Country are digging out from high water again, and The Texas Tribune reports that the crews doing it are still carrying the trauma of last year's floods. Floodwaters from the Guadalupe River inundated the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department's station, and cleanup was still underway there on Friday, July seventeenth, more than a week later. Among those working through the damage is Razor Dobbs, a department volunteer who also serves as its public information officer.
