Lab-grown mini brains may predict which Alzheimer’s treatments will work

Scientists have grown miniature brain models from patients' cells to test how Alzheimer's-related tissue responds to treatments. Per ScienceDaily, the organoids revealed striking differences in response to an antidepressant, and the particles they release could eventually guide which therapies to try for each patient while offering new clues for earlier diagnosis.
