Woman, 70, charged with murder of British expat Karen Carter in France

A seventy-year-old woman has been charged with the murder of Karen Carter, the British expatriate found dead in south-western France last year. The Guardian reports that the charge was filed on the second of July over Carter's death in Trémolat, a village in the Dordogne, and that the woman is now under judicial supervision. The regional public prosecutor said the suspect had been arrested once before, shortly after the killing on the twenty-ninth of April last year.
