Per CalMatters, Cal State San Bernardino has placed its former president into a year-long consulting role worth roughly three hundred forty-four thousand dollars, even as the university settles a gender discrimination and harassment lawsuit for twelve million. Tomás Morales, who led the campus for fourteen years, resigned following allegations by two female administrators who said they faced retaliation after reporting pay gaps and harassment. Cal State maintains Morales is in good standing—and thus eligible for the executive transition program—but the accusers, Clare Weber and Anissa Rogers, have publicly objected, with Weber arguing the university protects male executives accused of misconduct instead of holding them accountable.
