Yemen’s Houthis claim attacks on Red Sea tankers as US launches 12th night of strikes on Iran – Middle East crisis live

The Pentagon reports the US military launched its twelfth consecutive night of strikes on Iranian military targets Thursday, acting under President Trump's orders. The strikes are intended to degrade Tehran's ability to threaten shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Yemen's Houthis, for their part, claim they've attacked Red Sea tankers they say violated their blockade. Separately, the US is signing a new nuclear agreement with Saudi Arabia.
