Total solar eclipse books out hotels two years in advance in New Zealand city

Per the Guardian, New Zealand's South Island will experience a total solar eclipse on July twenty-second, twenty twenty-eight—its first in more than eight hundred fifty years. The moon will cast a shadow roughly one hundred kilometers wide across both Queenstown and Dunedin, plunging those cities into darkness for just under three minutes. Hotels throughout the region are already fully booked for the event, with some rooms reserved two years in advance.
