Solar is booming in Indiana. Not everyone is happy about it.

The state's largest solar farm came online in early 2025 in rural Jasper County—but the expansion isn't sitting well with everyone. Longtime resident Gena Carlson worries the solar panels will disrupt farmland, highlighting the tension between renewable energy growth and agricultural communities.
