Scoop: Democrat Senate Super PAC targets 4 Republican seats

Axios reports that Senate Majority PAC—the Super PAC backing Senate Democrats—is pumping fifty-four million dollars more into television ads, targeting four Republican-held seats. The new money is concentrated in Ohio, where twenty-four million dollars is going to support former Senator Sherrod Brown; Iowa, with seventeen million for state Senator Josh Turek; North Carolina, backing former Governor Roy Cooper with eleven million; and Alaska, where two million goes to former Representative Mary Peltola. The spending increase signals where Democrats believe they can flip seats, even as Republicans' Senate Leadership Fund still holds a significant cash advantage—two hundred thirty-eight million dollars to Democrats' one hundred twenty-six million as of late June.
