Variety is reporting that Isabel Davis has been appointed director of the British Film Institute's National Lottery Filmmaking Funds, which distributes roughly twenty-six point eight million dollars annually to support independent filmmakers across the U.K. Davis previously served as executive director of Screen Scotland for eight years and is beginning a five-year contract in this new role.
