Crews Move Artemis IV Liquid Hydrogen Tank
science
Crews at NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans have moved a one-hundred-thirty-foot-tall liquid hydrogen tank from the main factory to a separate test building. The tank will serve as part of the core stage for the Space Launch System rocket powering Artemis IV, providing super-cold propellant to one of four RS-25 engines. The move, completed in May, represents another step forward in developing the next generation of moon-bound spacecraft.
