Launch HN: Screenpipe (YC S26) – Power your agents by your 24/7 screen recording
dev_tools
On Thursday, Hacker News reported on the launch of Screenpipe, a Y Combinator-backed app that records your screen and audio locally and gives AI agents searchable memory of everything you've seen, said, and heard. This is designed to help automate repetitive work by giving AI the context it needs to operate independently, without constant prompting. The code is source-available on GitHub, though the creator has moved to a commercial license model for business users, after previously building the Ava plugin for Obsidian.
