Final Coyote vs. Acme trailer drops at SDCC
entertainment
The final trailer for Coyote vs. Acme has dropped at San Diego Comic-Con. The film, shelved for years, is now getting a theatrical release after Ketchup Entertainment acquired it from Warner Bros. The premise is delightful: after decades of Acme equipment catastrophically failing him in his pursuit of the Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote decides to sue the corporation. Per Ars Technica, the concept draws inspiration from a satirical 1990 New Yorker piece by Ian Frazier, also called Coyote vs. Acme. It's a twisted love letter to the classic cartoon dynamic — and finally, audiences will get to see it on the big screen.
