South Texas nun detained by ICE faces uncertain future in U.S.

Sister Leticia Ugboaja, a nun from Nigeria living in South Texas, spoke publicly Thursday for the first time since her detention by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in June, the Texas Tribune reports. Accompanied by her attorney and another nun, Ugboaja addressed the circumstances of her case. She continues to work with legal representation as she faces an uncertain future regarding her immigration status in the United States.
