India activist ends hunger strike after 26 days

BBC World reports that Indian education activist Sonam Wangchuk has ended a twenty-six-day hunger strike. He was backing youth-led protesters demanding reforms to India's education system, and says he stopped the strike to prevent what he calls 'possible violence.'
