Forgot your Google password? Now you can log in with a selfie.

Google is rolling out a new account recovery option: sign in with a selfie. If you forget your password or lose an authenticator, you can use facial recognition to regain access—provided you've set up the feature beforehand with a video recording. Per Ars Technica, it's not available for Workspace accounts, child accounts, or anyone in Google's Advanced Protection Program. The company promises the video stays encrypted and won't be repurposed without your consent.
