US hits Singapore with 12.5% tariffs, citing failure to ban imports produced with forced labour

The United States has imposed twelve point five percent tariffs on Singapore, citing the country's failure to ban imports made with forced labour, Channel NewsAsia reports. Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry estimates that roughly one-third of the country's domestic exports to America could be affected.
