U.S., other nations back open-source AI with 'strong security' at China summit

At an APEC summit, the United States and other nations are backing open-source artificial intelligence with strong security standards. Per Li Lecheng, China's industry and information technology minister, this represents the first time this kind of cooperation has reached the ministerial level.
