Replacing gas stove can help asthmatics as much as some drugs, US experts find

Researchers at Ohio's MetroHealth have found that replacing gas stoves with electric alternatives produces a seventy percent reduction in hospital admissions and missed work or school days for people with poorly controlled asthma. The Guardian reports the study was launched in December twenty twenty-four but saw its funding terminated early by the incoming Trump administration. Originally designed to track twelve hundred residents near Cleveland, the findings suggest that a simple appliance swap could rival some medications in managing severe asthma symptoms.
