Ukraine launches one of its biggest strikes on Russia this year, targeting Wildberries warehouses and a missile plant

Meduza reports that Ukraine has launched one of its largest strikes on Russia this year, with Moscow's Defense Ministry saying its air defenses shot down five hundred seventy-one Ukrainian drones overnight across fifteen regions, occupied Crimea, and the Sea of Azov and Black Sea. For the fourth time this week, the attack hit warehouses belonging to Wildberries, Russia's largest online marketplace, igniting large fires at logistics complexes near St. Petersburg and injuring at least three people in the Leningrad region, though the company said its staff had been evacuated in advance. Sorting and distribution sites were also struck in occupied Simferopol and reportedly in Tver, and a separate missile strike hit the Avitek plant in Kirov, a manufacturer Ukraine says produces surface-to-air missile systems. Kyiv has not commented on the latest strikes, but in earlier attacks President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukrainian forces were targeting logistics centers that supply the Russian military with drone components and other gear.
