Russia's Federal Security Service says it has detained a woman in Moscow on suspicion of working for Ukrainian intelligence. According to Meduza, the FSB claims the woman, a Russian citizen born in 1996, was arrested while planting an explosive device under a security officer's car. The agency alleges she contacted Ukrainian intelligence herself, offering to cooperate in return for help relocating to a European Union country, and that she traveled to Ukraine for sabotage training before retrieving the explosives from a hiding spot near Samara. Authorities have opened a criminal case on charges of attempted terrorism and illegal handling of explosives, and the FSB says it also intends to charge her with treason. The woman has not been publicly identified, and the account of events comes entirely from the security service.
