France battles escalating wildfire crisis

France is confronting an escalating wildfire emergency, according to France 24. Authorities have ordered evacuations across the villages of Lège-Cap-Ferret after intense fires earlier this week, and more than twenty thousand people have already been forced to flee. At least four thousand eight hundred hectares have been consumed by the flames, and officials describe the situation as critical.
