Uzbek economy grows 8.5% as services and investment expand

Euronews reports that Uzbekistan's economy grew eight point five percent in the first half of twenty twenty-six. Official figures presented at a presidential review showed investment of twenty-four point six billion euros and exports of twelve point seven billion euros, as services and investment drove growth. The strong performance has prompted Moody's to upgrade Uzbekistan's sovereign credit rating and Fitch to shift its outlook to positive.
