Variety reports that the Edinburgh International Film Festival is hosting an inaugural UK Film Conference running August fourteenth through eighteenth. Located at Central Hall, the five-day industry program is billed as a state-of-the-nation summit for British independent cinema and features Ewan McGregor, Kenneth Branagh, Ken Burns, Christine Vachon, and Bruce Dern.
