Philips Hue is expanding compatibility for its smart bulbs. According to The Verge, the company has enabled its Matter-enabled bulbs to support both Thread and Zigbee protocols simultaneously. That means you can connect Hue bulbs directly to Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, or Google Home while keeping them linked to existing Zigbee systems—no more switching between ecosystems.
