Bangladesh president resigns citing ill health

Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin has resigned due to ill health. Channel NewsAsia reports he cited worsening physical and mental incapacity in his resignation letter, saying he can no longer properly fulfill the responsibilities of his office.
