The “Simply” Perfect Clock #piday #raspberrypi

tech

Per Adafruit Blog, Lee Hutchson had a simple wish: a clock that displays red digits, keeps accurate time, and never needs manual adjustment. When he couldn't find one off the shelf, he built it. Using a Raspberry Pi, a three-D printer, a red seven-segment display, and some help from Claude, Hutchson created what he calls a hilariously overengineered weekend project. The design is open-sourced—full bill of materials, software, and printer files—proving that sometimes the easiest path to the perfect product is building it yourself.
