Design proposals for European banknotes

Boing Boing reports that the European Central Bank has published design proposals for a new generation of euro banknotes. Designers from across Europe reimagined how the currency could look, with one proposal set to become the official design. The refresh will give the cash used by hundreds of millions of Europeans across the continent a fresh visual identity.
