Chuck Russell, Director of ‘The Mask,’ Dies at 74

Chuck Russell, the filmmaker behind several well-known genre movies, has died at the age of seventy-four. Variety reports that Russell directed the 1994 comedy "The Mask" as well as "A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors," work that helped launch a number of careers. According to Variety, he died Wednesday in the San Diego area, with his death confirmed by his attorney after the local fire department responded to his house.
