Add Sensors to Everything!

The challenge: filament pressure lags behind the feedrate as unmelted plastic acts like a springy piston, and makers usually calibrate this out with a guess. A strain gauge in the nozzle eliminates the guesswork for every filament type. The same sensor brings bonus uses—setting nozzle height when it touches the bed, detecting clogs via over-pressure. The bigger takeaway: put sensors where you don't know what might happen, and you'll discover things you didn't know to look for.
