The Universe can outrun light without breaking Einstein’s rules

Per ScienceDaily, distant galaxies are racing away from us faster than the speed of light—and remarkably, this doesn't violate Einstein's theory. We can still see the ancient light those galaxies emitted when they were much closer to us. But as acceleration continues, nearly every galaxy beyond our Local Group will eventually drift beyond our reach, making the Universe appear almost empty.
