Filmmaker Midi Z has announced *The Exiles*, an upcoming feature starring Sam Worthington, David Duchovny, and Ke-Xi Wu. Per Variety, Midi Z is building the film around thematic inspiration from Joseph Conrad's classic *Heart of Darkness*—a contemporary, original story that reimagines the novel's existential exploration for the twenty-first century. He revealed the project during the Malaysia International Film Festival, where he served as jury member.
