‘Futurama’ to Release Three New Supersized Specials, Including a Christmas Episode, Starting Next Year on Hulu

Futurama is getting a significant expansion on Hulu, Variety reports. The streaming platform has greenlit three new supersized specials in addition to Season 14, with one taking on a Christmas theme. The announcement, made Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con by creator Matt Groening and showrunner David X. Cohen, suggests the 1999 animated hit continues to draw substantial investment as it heads into next year.
